Virginia Mensah, MD
Dr. Virginia Mensah is a specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Her path to becoming a fertility specialist began in New Jersey, her home state, at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. There she received a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics and Microbiology and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She went to on receive her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine where she decided on a career in Obstetrics and Gynecology for its emphasis on women’s health and reproduction. She completed her residency training at the renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she received a teaching award for medical student education and was published in several peer reviewed journals. Dr. Mensah completed her fellowship training at the Brown University affiliated Women and Infants Hospital in Rhode Island, where she again received a teaching accolade and continued to participate in research into reproductive outcomes in the infertility population.
