PREPARING FOR YOUR PROCEDURE:

To help minimize the risk of asymptomatic spread of coronavirus during your procedure we ask that:

Unless you are Fully Vaccinated, as per NJ Department of Health Guidelines, all patients, are required to have a COVID-19 PCR test (Nasal Swab) prior to their procedure, no more than 6 days before their scheduled procedure.

Testing is offered at Genesis Laboratory Monday-Friday, any time before noon.  Lab is located at 1912 NJ-35 in Oakhurst, NJ.

Once tested, you must quarantine prior to your procedure to avoid exposure to COVID.

If you tested at a location other than CAMIS, you will need to obtain a copy of your test results.

Fully vaccinated patients do NOT need to get tested nor quarantine.

Check for the following symptoms daily prior to your procedure and notify us if you have any of the following:

  1. Fever ≥ 38.0 C (100.5 F) which lasts 24 hours

  2. New respiratory symptoms (i.e, cough, shortness of breath, respiratory distress, sore throat, chills, muscle aches, loss of taste /smell)

  3. Any exposure to confirmed COVID-19 person

Stay flexible

Your procedure is currently scheduled to proceed on the planned date, but we also have to be flexible to deal with any potential changes regarding our schedule, the capacity of our Center and providers.  We would appreciate your understanding if things change.  In return we promise to keep you informed with up-to-date information with what is happening here at CAMIS, as well as keeping your best interests at the forefront.  You will receive your time of arrival the day before your procedure between the hours of 1pm-4pm
